Totally agree! Being a Backend engineer mostly but observing Frontend over the last 10+ years I can say that it's much more enjoyable to work on Frontend nowadays.
I feel like companies now want you to not only know React, but Angular and Typescript, plus add on experience of using libraries like three.js, d3.js, etc. It’s very hard out here
